Special Features & Unique Opportunities
UNM Hospital houses the only Level 1 trauma center in the state and features primary and subspecialty adult and pediatric care, along with an NCI Cancer Center. Lecture blocks target each section of the ABR core exam, with physics training across the curriculum and year-long Radiology Brant & Helms directed readings for new residents. We prioritize resident education and training. Residents perform procedures and interpret advanced examinations from their first year onward.
